Caernarfon Town became the latest team to win the Welsh Cup after a memorable victory over Flint Town United at Rodney Parade.

The Cofis will now compete in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers for the second time in three seasons, further strengthening manager Richard Davies’ case as one of the greatest in the club’s history.

Fan favourite Sion Bradley opened the scoring, setting the tone for a dominant spell. Matty Jones and January signing Adrian Cieślewicz quickly followed, both finding the net during an impressive 20-minute period that overwhelmed the Silkmen.

Roared on by a crowd of over 2,000 – largely made up of a passionate travelling support from Gwynedd – Caernarfon lifted the trophy for the first time, marking a historic moment for the club. In doing so, they etched their name into the record books as the competition’s 34th different winner.
